Today I present you with a very healthy smoothie/breakfast bowl recipe. It is highly rich in nutrients and healthy fats, and could be a perfect weight gain solution for healthy babies, and for pregnant mommies.

Mirna Elsabbagh, Adult & Child Nutritionist - Breastfeeding and Child Nutrition

Its Ingredients are so easy and present in most homes and these include:

Ingredients:

  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup Full fat organic milk
  • Few drops of vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp. of honey or Maple syrup (optional)
  • 2 tbsp. Grinded walnuts, almonds or other nuts

If your child doesn’t like it, you can add cocoa powder for an extra yummy flavor and color, a teaspoon of cinnamon powder, or few other spices

Instructions:

  • Mix well in a cup, or add to a bowl

You can add chocolate shavings, your child’s favorite cereal, fruits or any other topping.

And that’s it!
