A Very Delicious Date Muffin Recipe

Muffins are a delightful way to start your and your child’s morning, and perfect treat throughout the day!

Therefore, today I present you a very easy yet very healthy muffin recipe, with an extra special taste of dates.

You’ll love this recipe as it is a go-to as a healthy snack, which you can whip up in just a few minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 5g whole grain flour

  • 3 tea spoons of baking powder

  • 5 tea spoon of salt

  • 3 handfuls of fresh nuts

  • 1 egg

  • 200g of milk

  • 100g of oil

  • 100g date syrup or honey or maple syrup or sugar of choice

  • 2 bananas

  • 100g of dates

  • 1 Tbsp of vanilla essence

Instructions:

  • Mix the flour, the baking powder, the salt, and the nuts together

  • Remove the pits of the dates

  • Chop the dates a rough chop and add it to the mixture

  • On the side combine 1 egg, 200g of milk, and 100g of oil and sugar or the syrup and bananas together in a hand machine
  • Add them on the top of each other
  • Mix them (but do not overmix them)
  • Preheat the oven on 190°
  • Spray oil on a muffin tin and put the mixture inside
  • Bake for 15-25 minutes
  • Check them each 2 minutes after the initial 10 minutes to make sure they don't get over cooked
